The aim of this paper is to propose a novel benchmark for the cosmetics sector,
which seeks to establish a set of guidelines that all manufacturers should
comply with under the name of "Earth Ingredients". By implementing this
proposed standard, the industry can ensure greater transparency and enable
consumers to make more informed choices that promote holistic wellbeing.
Although the scope of this paper is aimed at the cosmetics industry, the same
principles outlined here can be extended to the food industry.
